American Express begun construction this week on what will be the world’s largest Centurion Lounge at John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Terminal 4.
When completed in 2020, the 15,000-square-foot Centurion Lounge at JFK Terminal 4 will have two levels and provide American Express card members with a host of amenities, including a custom bar and food menu, premium restrooms and shower suites, access to high-speed Wi-Fi and noise-buffering workspaces.
“The Centurion Lounge is a perfect match for our passengers who already expect premium service and experiences when they travel out of Terminal 4, and we are very excited about this partnership,” Roel Huinink, President/CEO of JFKIAT, operators of Terminal 4, says in statement.
American Express also plans to open Centurion Lounge locations in Charlotte, Denver, London and Los Angeles during the next 12 months.
