American Express To Open Largest Centurion Lounge At JFK

American Express will open a new location of The Centurion Lounge for card members in John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 4 by early 2019. As a two-level post-security space measuring more than 15,000 square feet, the JFK location will be the largest American Express Centurion Lounge.

In addition to special new features that American Express has not yet announced, the JFK Centurion Lounge will feature a complimentary custom bar and food menu, premium restaurants, shower suites, high-speed Wi-Fi and noise-buffered workspaces.

American Express platinum card and Centurion members will receive complimentary access to The Centurion Lounge. Members can also bring immediate family or up to two travel companions. Members can purchase additional guest passes for $50 each.

“We’re excited to bring The Centurion Lounge to JFK, one of the top airports that our platinum card members travel through each year,” says Josh McKay, vice president and general manager of global benefits and services for American Express. “We aim to elevate our card members’ travel experiences, and our industry-leading lounge program is one of our card members’ favorite ways we do this. We look forward to continuing to expand this offering with JFK and more lounges to come.”
