Analyst Concession Programs

Position Summary
The Analyst Concession Programs reports to the Manager Concession Programs and oversees all concession matters at Terminal 5 (T5) JFK Airport including day to day management of the T5 concessions program, managing concessionaire relationships, analyzing concession program financial performance and assist with the concession budget. The Analyst manages all concession operations and performance of the concession programs and constantly endeavors to elevate the customer experience and increase revenue for JetBlue. The Analyst also follows concession and airline industry events and trends.
The Analyst Concession Programs is a key member of the Concessions team that is dedicated to managing the T5 retail, food and beverage and services. The Analyst excels at building effective relationships with individuals at all levels within and outside of the organization, and is also able to perform well with minimal guidance. The Analyst excels at problem solving and incorporates the JetBlue culture and brand with T5 business partners to ensure a positive customer experience. The Analyst is able to work on various tasks, change priorities as new demands arise despite the high pressure environment, and is an effective crewmember whose personal values match JetBlue’s values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun

Essential Responsibilities
· Oversee the T5 concession operation, including management of concessionaire relationships and analysis of financial performance
· Assist with the coordination of JetBlue events and promotions at JFK T5 on an as needed basis (i.e. marketing events, promotions, and displays at JFK T5)
· Evaluate the financial performance of the food, retail, and consumer service concessions programs as well as the in-terminal advertising program at JFK T5
· Review and analyze concessionaire street pricing and merchandise mix
· Work with external partners on street pricing audits, including: analyzing results and providing recommendations to enhance sales performance while maintaining street pricing
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
· Three (3) years of experience with retail business development
· Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
· Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
· Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
· Three (3) years of experience with retail business development in airports or other transportation facilities, shopping centers, or downtown areas
· Three (3) years experience in tenant relationships/management
· Experience with food, retail and consumer service concession operations and finances

Supervision Received:
Plans and carries out work assignments and handles problems in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices in the occupation. Consults with Crewleader on unique situations which do not have clear precedents

Supervisory Duties:
No supervisory responsibility but is responsible for managing a specific function

Crewmember Expectations:
· Regular attendance and punctuality
· Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
· Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
· When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
· Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun

Equipment:
· Computer and other office equipment

Physical Effort:
· Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. (Light)
