Bronson also served as Anchorage mayor, responsible for managing a workforce of nearly 3,000 employees and a budget exceeding $600 million.

“Dave Bronson’s blend of hands-on aviation expertise and public sector experience is an asset to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport,” said Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities commissioner Ryan Anderson. “He has a deep understanding of Alaska’s aviation needs, and we look forward to leveraging his operational experience to further strengthen ANC’s role as a critical hub for Alaskans and global commerce.”

“I am honored to take on the role of airport manager at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport,” said Bronson. “Having spent much of my career based at ANC and working within Alaska’s aviation sector, I understand the vital role this airport plays for our state and beyond. I look forward to contributing my experience to support  ANC’s growth and success, while ensuring it remains a safe, efficient, and innovative hub for aviation.”
