Industry veteran Rosemarie Andolino is the new chief strategy officer at AI-driven, contactless airport commerce solutions provider FetchyFox, the company announced this week.
Andolino is the former chairman of MAG USA as well as CEO of International Development for the Manchester Airport Group, UK (MAG).
During her more than three years as CEO of MAG USA, Andolino took the company from a U.S. start-up to a formidable leader in the airport services business, building the brand, securing and opening 12 airport lounges, establishing a partnership with American Express Global Lounges and launching its digital car parking platform to market.
Prior to joining MAG USA, Andolino was vice president of aviation at Jacobs Engineering, where she led the engineering and architecture firm’s airports design practice.
She also served as Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), where she oversaw the management and operations of O’Hare International (ORD) and Midway International (MDW) airports, with an operating budget of $1 billion.
“I believe with our AI technology and vision, FetchyFox will not only solve many of the service gaps and operational challenges airports face every day, but also help airports grow their non-aeronautical revenue and engage customers as well,” Andolino said in a release announcing her appointment. “Through one platform, concessions will be able to maximize their offerings for passengers; passengers will have access to all of the hard-to-find ancillary services the airport offers and airports will be able to engage with their customers like never before.”
