Manchester Airports Group, which operates the third and fourth largest airports in the United Kingdom, has appointed Rosemarie Andolino as president and CEO if its newly created division in North America, M.A.G U.S.
Andolino, the former commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation, will oversee the development of M.A.G’s airport services in North America. The new division will work with airports to develop and operate terminal and retail solutions, passenger lounges and car parking facilities.
She has been in international airport management for more than 12 years, having overseen the management and function of Chicago O’Hare International (ORD) and Midway (MDW), which collectively handle more than 1 million flights, 87 million passengers and 1.5 million tons of cargo on an operating budget of $1 billion.
Her priorities, according to a M.A.G. release, were air service development, environmental sustainability and customer service. She also oversaw an $8 billion reconfiguration of the intersecting runway system at ORD.

Andolino says she is delighted to be joining the company. “The airport industry in North America is going through a period of transition and M.A.G is well placed to play a significant role in supporting airports develop new and improved facilities for passengers and airlines,” she says.
M.A.G owns and operates Manchester (MAN), London Stansted (STN), East Midlands (EMA) and Bournemouth (BOH).
