The official inauguration of the new La Palma (SPC) terminal was July 6, and four food and beverage establishments managed by Areas were a part of it.
Areas already manages three establishments elsewhere in the airport; those, along with another new food and beverage concept being launched by the company, are moving to the new terminal.
The company was granted four food and beverage contracts, becoming the sole foodservices provider at the airport.
“Being the sole foodservices operator in La Palma Airport’s new terminal is another major success for the company,” says Pedro Fontana, president . “This new opening in the Canary Islands, where Areas already had a presence in Lanzarote Airport, encourages us to continue growing and strengthening our presence in the Canaries, which is for us a very attractive location with indisputable potential.”
One of the restaurants is La Pausa is a Brasserie-Grill concept; the establishment has a space reserved for Henry J. Beans, a quick-service food and beverage concept.
Meal O’Clock, Ars and Caffriccio are new to the boarding area. The three cafes allow for quick consumption, as well as a coffee, pastry or sandwich in a relaxed setting.
