Areas has opened Urth Caffé & Bar in Terminal 1 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Urth Caffé & Bar offers organic and specialty coffee, as well as a wide variety of healthy fare. The breakfast menu features breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and a bacon and leek quiche. The rest of the day, guests can choose among a variety of sandwiches, signature salads and soups. Urth Desserts include classics such as the New York Cheesecake, as well as some new twists like the Vegan Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie. Urth Caffé & Bar also features a bar menu, boasting a line-up of draft and bottled beers, a classic cocktail list and a selection of red and white wines.
“Both Urth Caffe & Bar’s atmosphere and menu reflect the unique spirit of LA, inspiring a sense of place for our guests,” says Sergio Rodriguez, CEO of Areas in the United States. “The Urth Caffé & Bar story has its roots in the organic movement, which is embedded in California’s culinary reputation.”
The over 2,000 square foot space will be open from 4:00 AM through last flight. Urth Caffé & Bar is the 5th concept Areas operates in Terminal 1. Areas currently also operates Deli & Co, California Pizza Kitchen, Reilly’s and The Coffee Bean.
