Areas USA will be bringing five Ruby Tuesday restaurants to various domestic airports.
Areas, which will develop and manage the restaurants, operates more than 1,200 establishments worldwide in countries such as Spain, Portugal, Argentina and the U.S. It was established in 1968 and is in almost 90 airports worldwide.
“Areas USA chose Ruby Tuesday from several alternatives because its high quality, casual dining is in-line with our strategy to offer new, fresh concepts that provide superior service to our customers,” says Xavier Rabell, chief executive officer of Areas USA. “We hope our relationship with the company will be a long-lasting one.”
The first two airport locations to be developed are in Orlando and Detroit; both are scheduled to open by mid-2009.
