Airport Revenue News is pleased to announce Jeff Mulder, director of airports for Tulsa International (TUL), as its 2016 Director of the Year in the small airports category.
“Every year it is an honor to recognize the leaders in our industry, and this year is no different,” says Ramon Lo, publisher of ARN. “After a very thorough process, ARN identified Jeff Mulder.”
After being shortlisted from a field of candidates and then vetted by his industry peers, Mulder was chosen by ARN’s editorial staff based on his work with TUL, as well as his leadership on a national level as chair of the American Association of Airport Executives. Prior to his time with TUL, Mulder served at Appleton International (ATW), Evansville Regional (EVV), General Mitchell International (MKE) and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International (MSY). TUL’s airport director since 2005, Mulder also served as the City of Tulsa’s Director of Infrastructure and Transportation from 2009 to 2014. A commercial pilot and certified flight instructor, Mulder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aviation technology and operations from Western Michigan University, as well as an MBA from Cardinal Stritch College.
“Thanks to ARN and my industry colleagues for the award,” says Mulder. “There are so many creative and talented people that have helped airports over the years that deserve recognition. This award is a great honor, and I am very thankful to be part of this great industry.”
Mulder will be interviewed in and featured on the cover of ARN’s October issue. He will be presented this award at the ARN Awards Show on the final night of the ARN 2017 Revenue Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans. For more information about the conference, please go to www.arnconference.com.
