MIA Ranks High in J.D. Power Study
In recent airport studies conducted by J.D. Power and Associates, Miami International Airport’s (MIA) retail services ranked first in customer satisfaction and eleventh in overall airport satisfaction. Already seven months into 2006, MIA has opened 14 retail stores between Terminals E and H. A Brookstone, Mindworks, Mont Blanc, Airport Wireless, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Borders, The Havana Shirt Store and Hudson News stores are just a few of the new retailers. A Dunkin Donuts and Jetsetter Mini Spa are set to join the growing tenant list later this summer.

The J.D. Power rankings are based on the results of responses from almost ten thousand passengers who have flown between January and May of 2006. Each passenger was asked to, at a minimum, evaluate their arriving and departing airports. J.D. Power and has conducted quality and customer satisfaction surveys for almost forty years, owning a comprehensive database covering a variety of products and services.
