Airport Revenue News, a premier multi-channel media resource on the business of airports, has promoted Ramon Lo to associate publisher and Carol Ward to editorial director.
In his newly created role, Lo will be responsible for spearheading ARN’s efforts to develop content for its audience of airport business decision makers.
Lo has been with ARN for nine years. He has held the titles of marketing director and for the past three years, editorial director, in which he was instrumental in positioning ARN as one of the premier providers of timely news and insights in the airport business arena.
“ARN aims to serve the airport business community with engaging content aimed at educating and empowering people to be successful in this market,” says David Broderick, ARN’s executive director and publisher. “Ramon has been playing and continues to play an important role in this mission, and in his new role he will help us continue to raise the bar.”
Ward, who has more than 25 years of experience in journalism, has been with ARN for 15 years. In her new role, she will lead ARN’s editorial team in the ongoing production of news content including its flagship monthly title publication, Airport Revenue News magazine. Ward is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
“Carol is a highly respected journalist who is well known and well read throughout the airport industry,” says Lo. “She has been a valued part of the ARN family from day one. Her skills, paired with the talents of the editorial staff, will continue to grow and evolve ARN to continue as the ultimate airport revenue and concession resource.”
Andrew Tellijohn also has been promoted to senior reporter. He has been with ARN for about 10 years and holds a bachelor of science degree in business with an emphasis in management from Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
In addition to the magazine, ARN also produces the Fact Book and recently launched Airport Directors TV.
