Airport Revenue News, a multi-channel media resource on the business of airports, has promoted Ramon Lo to the position of publisher.
“We are thrilled to have Ramon leading the business for ARN,” says Doug Miller, president and CEO of Urban Expositions, the parent company of ARN. “Urban places tremendous value on industry relationships, and we’re confident that Ramon can be a strong leader as ARN heads into the future.”
During his 10 years with ARN, Lo has held the titles of marketing director, editorial director and, most recently, associate publisher. In his new role, Lo will be responsible for ARN’s business operations and growth, overseeing the company’s current products while expanding and advancing its offerings.
“Thank you to our parent company, Urban Expositions, for this tremendous opportunity,” says Lo. “On the heels of one of our most successful airport revenue conferences ever, I could not be any more excited about the prospects of our industry and ARN’s role in chronicling its evolution. Additionally, it is a thrill and an honor to be on this journey with a talented and dedicated staff, with whom I have had the pleasure of serving this industry for many years.”
There have been other personnel changes, as well. Howard Mintz has been named director of business development and finance; Melissa Montes is now director of business development and marketing. Both also will continue to manage and develop new and existing revenue sources.
Finally, John Manly has been promoted to creative services manager. A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Manly designs and maintains ARN’s digital assets such as websites, videos and collateral materials.
In addition to Airport Revenue News magazine, ARN produces the Fact Book and the recently launched Airport Directors TV. The company hosts the annual ARN Revenue Conference & Exhibition, the airport industry’s premier gathering
for executive-level decision makers from airports and operators.
