Auntie Anne’s Inc. has named the Auntie Anne’s at LaGuardia’s (LGA) Central Terminal the “Pretzel Perfect Store.”
It is the first time an airport location has received the award, which is given to 30 out of 850 stores each year in the United States.
The LGA store at LaGuardia’s Food & Shops received the award for meeting the company’s “Threefold Philosophy”: Provide guests with fresh, hot, golden brown pretzels and extraordinary service in a clean and spotless store every day. The store is then evaluated on its management and staff, sales and marketing, and charitable actions.
“We are thrilled that our Auntie Anne’s franchisee has received this award,” says Lillian Tan, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace Development. “The staff here strives to provide the highest level of service to our passengers and is deserving of this unprecedented honor.”
The team at LGA includes franchisee partners Adam Levy, Karyn Simon, Lisi Biciocchi and store manager Jenn Dallaire.
