A&W, a fast-food restaurant, will be coming to Halifax Stanfield International (YHZ) in the spring of 2017, as well as other new locations.
A&W will be located in the airport’s food court and will operate from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily. It will serve breakfast as well as the restaurant’s daytime menu.
“We have A&W restaurants in major travel hubs across the country and know firsthand that travelers are looking for quick, great-tasting food that they can enjoy while on the go,” says Rob Ogden, operator of the new A&W at YHZ. “We were drawn to the airport and its commitment to offering its passengers new foods that fit their lifestyle. This philosophy aligns with our ingredients guarantee and mission to provide busy, burger-loving guests with simple, great-tasting ingredients farmed with care.”
Additionally, Hudson Group recently opened its newly renovated Hudson News store across from Gate 20. The company closed its Hudson News near Gate 22 and will reopen it in the spring as Island Beach Company’s Nova Scotia Store.
Tim Hortons will also open a larger renovated location at the top of the pre-board security screening on the domestic/international departures level this week.
