BagsID has named Richard Camman as its new chief commercial officer, responsible for overseeing the commercial operations for airports, airlines and third parties such as security equipment providers, international governments, and airport regulatory institutions.
Camman brings expertise in biometrics and seamless passenger journeys to his new role. Prior to joining BagsID, he served as vice president of business innovation at Vision-Box and managing director of border and identity management for Accenture.
“Richard joins us with experience that will be instrumental in aligning our computer-vision for profiling and identifying baggage with passenger biometrics,” said Dave Bakker, CEO of BagsID. “With the recent baggage congestions, it is clear that traveling with baggage needs a new approach.
