Bambuza Hospitality Group Names Shane Bridges CFO

Bambuza Hospitality Group has named Shane Bridges as its next CFO. A longtime CPA, Bridges brings nearly three decades of financial leadership experience across a wide portfolio of brands. Bridges joins the hospitality group — which currently manages 16 total restaurant and retail concepts including Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, SAMBAZON, Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar, Ninth & Pike Artisan Kitchen, Embarque Whiskey Grill and Hiep Hung Asian Marketplace — as they prepare to open four new locations in Salt Lake City, Utah and Sacramento, California over the next year.

“We’re excited to welcome Shane to our team,” said Bambuza president and CEO Katherine Lam. “After 20 years in business, our company is on the precipice of a significant expansion. Shane’s expertise in business growth and infrastructure building will be instrumental in readying us for increased market share. His proven track record, along with his deep understanding of key financial indicators that help grow companies, makes him an ideal fit for our group. We are laying a foundation for strong community impact together.

“I’m thrilled to join Bambuza Hospitality Group at this point in their growth as a business,” added Bridges. “There’s a lot of excitement surrounding a fast-growing company. New target goals translate into team hustle and a collective mindset of excellence. I am looking forward to providing financial insight and developing effective strategies to achieve these goals alongside a tremendous group of people.
