Be Relax has opened its first New York City spa in JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International (JFK).
In the 1,000-square-foot space, guests will find a variety of massage options, including Swedish, hot-stone, foot and acupressure chair; beauty-oriented services such as manicures and pedicures; and a blow-dry bar. Barbering services also are available.
“We have created a soothing bubble that promotes beauty, relaxation and an escape from the stresses of the journey ahead,” says Adeline Moya, Be Relax’s COO. “Be Relax has brought the luxury spa experience into T5 for the convenience and comfort of JetBlue passengers. We want to reintroduce a touch of glamour back into air travel.”
Marty St. George, senior vice president of commercial for JetBlue Airways, says both companies began with “similar missions.”
“JetBlue started with the mission to bring humanity back to air travel and Be Relax started with the promise to create a simple and efficient airport spa service accessible to everyone,” he says. “So it is only fitting that we welcome this growing brand featuring unique, yet relaxing spa experiences to our home at T5. We are confident this will further enhance the JetBlue experience.”
