Beer Flights Event Returns To DEN

Denver International (DEN) is bringing back its Beer Flights beer garden for the second year in a row.

Located in the Jeppesen Terminal, the beer garden will operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 19-27.

“Our inaugural beer garden brought together people from different corners of the world to share stories and form new friendships as they sampled a taste of the booming Colorado craft beer scene,” says Kim Day, CEO of DEN. “The feedback we received from passengers far exceeded our expectations, so we are excited to make Beer Flights an annual event. This year, we will offer twice the number of breweries for passengers to experience, along with live music and an unbeatable atmosphere in the center of one of the busiest airport terminals in the country.”

Passengers who are 21 or older will be able to pay $10 to get a souvenir glass and try 10 two-ounce samples of beer. Twenty Colorado breweries will be included in the event.

The event is organized by the airport and Denver Arts & Venues, in partnership with the Denver Theatre District and the Colorado Brewers Guild. Local artists will decorate eight picnic tables in the beer garden. There will also be live music, talks by brewers and trivia.
