Berg Takes On Active Role With Aeroplex Group Partners

Randall Berg, a founding partner of Aeroplex Group Partners, has moved into a more active role in the firm. In his expanded role Berg will provide a range of consulting services for Aeroplex’s airport and aviation clients, including airport administration and operations, security and maintenance functions, capital improvement funding, tenant and airline lease negotiations, Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Security Administration regulatory compliance, land use, facility development, finance and FAA grant management.

Before his recent retirement, Berg was director of aviation for King County, Washington, which oversees King County International Airport (BFI). Prior to his role at BFI, Berg served as director of airport operations for the Salt Lake City Department of Airports for 15 years.

Berg is currently on the board of directors for the National Air Transportation Association, and he participates in the Transportation Research Board for the National Academy of Sciences Airport Cooperative Research Program.

“After retiring from a rewarding 42-year career in airport executive management, I am looking forward to working in close collaboration with my partners to continue providing our clients with the knowledge and expertise they have come to expect,” says Berg. “At this point in my life, I welcome new consulting challenges, the increased opportunity to continue with my passion teaching young people about airport and aviation careers, and the chance to spend more time with my family.”
