Blake Shelton to Bring Ole Red to BNA Next Year

Country superstar Blake Shelton, Ryman Hospitality Properties and Fraport Tennessee this week announced plans for a new Ole Red live music location in the Nashville International Airport (BNA) that will open in the first half of 2022.

Ole Red, a brand inspired by Shelton’s hit song “Ol’ Red,” will open in a 5,500-square-foot footprint in the C Terminal. The planned $4.5 million project will have space for 190 seats, concert-quality acoustics and a menu featuring location-specific specialties, including breakfast items.

Ryman Hospitality Properties has also reached an agreement to operate a Grand Ole Opry-themed retail shop, which will sell products from across the company’s entertainment brands, including Ole Red.

“Our new concessions program celebrates the best of Music City,” said Matt Jennings, vice president of Fraport Tennessee, which operates the concessions program at the airport. “It’s exciting to announce plans for Ole Red’s new restaurant and live music venue in our busiest concourse. Ole Red and a Grand Ole Opry-themed retail shop will bring that Nashville Lower Broadway flavor and flair travelers are looking for.”

Ole Red BNA will join four existing locations in Orlando, Florida; Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Nashville, Tennessee; and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

“Folks from around the world come to Nashville lookin’ to have a good time and hear some of the best live music around, and now you can make it double with the Nashville airport venue! I’m excited to give visitors the best fun, food and music like only Ole Red can provide while they wait for their flight,” said Shelton in a press release.
