Nashville International Airport (BNA) this week launched a musical celebration of Black History Month with a program spotlighting African American music.
The events, the airport’s fifth annual celebration of African American music, begin this week with the Creative Soul Music Academy, followed next week by a performance by former “The Voice” contestant Skyler Harris.
Other scheduled performances include the Fisk Jazz Ensemble and The 474 Band featuring PMRnB. Dates of additional performances by African American musicians will be listed at flynashville.com.
The music festivities are being held at the pre-security area in the BNA South Terminal near Green Beans Coffee and are free and open to the public.
