BNA Inks Self-Parking Deal with LAZ Parking

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) Board of Commissioners this week approved a three-year contract with LAZ Parking to manage the self-parking facilities at Nashville International Airport (BNA).

The contract begins July 1, 2021, with two separate one-year options to extend the term, and the management fee value of the contract, including the optional extensions, is approximately $2.2 million.

“LAZ Parking was chosen after a thorough evaluation of all four proposals, and its extensive experience and strong record of performance fit perfectly into BNA’s commitment to excellence in operations,” said Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of MNAA, operator of BNA. “A focus on customer service is vital as we work to make a bigger, better BNA, and LAZ Parking has demonstrated it successfully embraces that approach. We’re looking forward to a successful partnership that serves our customers and enhances the experience at BNA.”

A new contract for management services of Valet Parking at BNA is currently being procured separately through a competitive solicitation process.

One of the highlights of the LAZ Parking proposal is its commitment to Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program participation. LAZ has committed to achieve a goal of 13.4 percent for operation of the public parking facilities and is partnering with Hudson and Associates to provide ACDBE support for the contract.
