The first airport location of Bobby Van’s Steakhouse has opened post-security in American Airlines Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International (JFK).
The 5,300 sq. ft., full-service restaurant and bar offers the New York Grill menu, featuring Bobby Van’s signature steaks and seafood. Off-airport, there are seven locations: five in New York, including the original in the Hamptons, and two in Washington, D.C.
“We opened Thursday evening and the response from management and staff of AA, Westfield, the Port Authority of New York [& New Jersey], other retailers and concessionaires has been nothing short of glowing,” says Michael Levine, COO of Tastes on the Fly.
“Passengers and guests are thrilled with the beauty of the build-out, the high-quality food and friendly professional level of service,” he continues. “Average guest checks are around $30, including the 60-seat full bar area and 135 seat dining room.”
Tastes on the Fly LLC is the owner/operator under a license agreement with Bobby Van’s.
