Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops at Philadelphia International (PHL) has named its 2010-11 Merchant of the Year, and it’s The Body Shop.
Store manager Dominica Scott will receive $1,000, the EDGE! Trophy and the title. Each staff member will also get an award.
The EDGE! Program – Excellence Drives Great Experiences – was created to motivate and reward merchants who give great customer service to passengers. Merchants can earn EDGE! Points by exceeding expectations in customer service, marketing and training. The merchant with the most points at the end of the quart is Merchant of the Quarter, and the one with the most points overall is Merchant of the Year.
“The Body Shop sets the bar very high with their continued dedication to strong customer service,” says Anna DiGregorio, director of marketing for the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “We’re proud of Dominica and the rest of The Body Shop team, and offer our congratulations to all of the merchants who were recognized this year.”
Other annual EDGE! Awards presented were for Best New Store Opening, Minute Suites; Most Exciting Food & Cocktail Location, Legal Sea Foods; Most Exciting Retail/Merchandise Storefront Display, Swarovski; Location that Has Received the Best Customer Commendation, Vino Volo; Retail Merchandising Unit with the Most Innovative Products, Arm Candy; Location with the Most Creative Design/Construction, Legal Sea Foods; and Location with the Friendliest Staff/Management Team, The Body Shop.
