Border Grill Rolls Into LAX’s Terminal 4

The L.A. Gourmet Street Truck, operated by HMSHost Corp., in Los Angeles International’s (LAX) Terminal 4 is home to a new concept.

The food truck rotates popular L.A. street food into the airport. This time, it’s Border Grill, created by Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger; it will feature gourmet tacos, quesadillas and ceviches.

“We are very excited to welcome Border Grill and Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, along with [Los Angeles World Airports], who have been great partners, at the first Border Grill location in the Tom Bradley International Terminal,” says Bryan Loden, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “We look forward to bringing Border Grill’s famous gourmet Mexican cuisine to travelers in another terminal.”

Border Grill is the second brand to be featured in the space; the first was Kogi BBQ by Chef Roy Choi.

“The focus of many our new concessions has been to put ‘the L.A. back into LAX’ by showcasing the very best of L.A.’s diverse cuisine, culture and lifestyle in the retail and food and beverage offerings for our guests,” says Deborah Flint, executive director of LAWA. “Travelers can experience the bold flavors of Mexican street food combined with the popularity of the gourmet-truck scene at LAX.”

Travelers who aren’t traveling through Terminal 4 can still access the food truck by providing their same-day boarding pass and government-issued ID at the terminal’s federal passenger security screening.
