The Roanoke Regional Airport Commission has selected Timothy Bradshaw as its new executive director.
The commission, which overseas Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional (ROA), conducted a nationwide search to replace longtime predecessor Jacqueline Shuck, who is retiring at the end of December.
Bradshaw has spent 25 years in airport management, most recently at Eastern Iowa (CID). Board members noted his experience and vision in making the selection, according to a news release.
“After touring the first-class airport facilities and meeting a number of the commission’s employees, I am excited about the opportunities before us and look forward to working with the regional community and its leaders to provide exceptional airport facilities and services,” Bradshaw says.
