Austin, TX-based Briggo is opening at San Francisco International (SFO), bringing its robotic barista to Bay Area airport travelers and employees for the first time.
The Briggo Coffee Haus opens in the coming month adjacent to the security entrance inside SFO’s Terminal 3, enabling customers to use the Briggo mobile app or Coffee Haus touchscreens to customize their order. Briggo’s robotic technology then crafts the drink within minutes from custom blends, fresh dairy, and gourmet syrups at a rate of up to 100 cups per hour. The SFO Coffee Haus will feature not only its own coffee blends but also blends from local Bay Area roasters Verve and Sightglass.
“Speed, quality, and consistency are at an absolute premium when it comes to airport amenities, which makes Briggo the perfect coffee experience for one of the top-rated airports in the world,” says Briggo CEO Kevin Nater. “We’re honored to bring Connected Coffee to such a vibrant, tech-savvy city as we quickly expand our presence throughout the Bay Area.”
To celebrate the grand opening, Briggo will team with ride-share service Lyft on a promotion that gives any customer who buys a Briggo beverage at SFO at 15% discount on their next airport Lyft ride through Labor Day.
