Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and retail partner Paradies Lagardère opened Bronzeville Crossing this week to provide travelers with local products from Milwaukee County neighborhoods while supporting local businesses owned by people of color.

Located post-security on Concourse C, Bronzeville Crossing is the latest store to open as part of MKE’s major refresh to the retail and dining options available to travelers.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Bronzeville Crossing is our latest retail shop to open as part of this major refresh,” said Brian Dranzik, MKE director. “Bronzeville Crossing is more than just a retail location; it’s a place where travelers can come together in the spirit of the neighborhood. The maps, graphics and music in the new store take travelers on a journey inside the heart of Bronzeville while providing a top-notch shopping experience for passengers.”

The store focuses on locally crafted goods that highlight the Bronzeville neighborhood of the city’s rich history while showcasing the many talents of residents who work there.
