Paul Brown has resigned from his role as CEO of the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority, which operates Jackson–Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN), AXN has learned.
Brown has led the airport since January 2020. He reportedly has committed to staying at JAN for 90 days to assist with the management transition.
In an interview with Jackson television station WLBT, Brown declined to share the reason for his resignation. He said that he will seek a new position where he can “make a critical difference for another major airport.”
AXN will update this story as it evolves.
