Global design and consulting firm Arup has appointed Jenny Buckley its new aviation business leader for the Americas.
“Jenny’s leadership qualities are exceptional,” says Ian Taylor, Arup’s global aviation leader. “She brings both engineering expertise and an understanding of airport operations to her work — two invaluable assets for working with the constantly evolving field of aviation.”
Buckley joined Arup in 1998. During her time with the company, she has led multi-disciplinary teams through design and construction on many aviation-related projects. She was most recently associate principal.
“I look forward to continuing the vision established by my much-admired colleague Susan Baer, who recently passed away,” says Buckley. “My colleagues at Arup are the best in the world, and together we will continue to provide our partners in the aviation industry with efficient, resilient and practical solutions designed to advance their businesses.”
