The Lee County Port Authority has hired Mark F. Busalacchi as its director of properties.
IN his new role, he is responsible for negotiating, drafting and managing revenue-producing contracts, such as leases, licenses and permit agreements, covering the use or occupancy of all properties and facilities at Southwest Florida International (RSW) and Page Field (FMY).
Busalacchi was most recently with jetBlue Airways, where he handled properties, contracts, corporate real estate and airport affairs at 15 airports. His experience also includes time in sales, operations, consulting and project management for Prime Flight Aviation Services, Shell Oil Products-U.S., Aircraft Services International Group, Glove Aviation Services and Inacom Information Systems.
He holds a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication/public relations from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.
