Travelers and airport employees can now open new accounts and deposit or cash checks at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI).
BAA Maryland, which develops and manages the Airmall at BWI, celebrated a grand opening event Monday for M&T Bank, which opened a full-service branch pre-security outside the Southwest Airlines Terminal. It’s the first such concept ever at BWI.
“The traveling public, and all who visit or work at the airport, can now utilize M&T Bank’s full-service offerings, which makes life a little bit easier when away from home,” says Mark Knight, president of BAA Maryland, in a statement.
M&T Bank also has 17 Automated Teller Machines scattered across BWI.
