Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) will host its annual SynergyBWI Business Networking Event on Monday, September 18. The event is held to educate local, small and minority businesses on the opportunities at the airport.
SynergyBWI lets small and minority business owners connect with other businesses, potential clients, partners and industry experts. Procurement information will also be offered with the goal of increasing local participation in the many contracting opportunities at BWI.
Seminars throughout the day will feature information for aspiring entrepreneurs and experienced business professionals regarding business certifications, bid preparation, upcoming contracts and lending opportunities.
“This event was created to foster collaboration and growth with the local business community,” said Ricky Smith, BWI executive director/CEO. “As an economic engine and major transportation resource, BWI Marshall Airport is working to support and champion small, local and minority businesses.”
