Cameron Hired As PHL’s Deputy Director Of Aviation, Finance, Administration

Effective June 20, Rochelle Cameron became the deputy director of aviation, finance and administration at Philadelphia International (PHL).

Before joining PHL, Cameron was with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority for nearly 13 years. While there, she oversaw finance and administration, as well as the Financial Management Division at Washington Dulles International (IAD), and the Inter-Terminal Concession Program at Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA). She was most recently the manager of financial strategy and analysis.

“I am very excited to welcome an aviation and business professional with Rochelle’s experience and expertise to our executive leadership staff at Philadelphia International Airport,” says Mark Gale, CEO of the airport. “Rochelle brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to us, and she will be a valuable asset to our organization as we plan for the future.”

Cameron also served as an active duty officer for seven years in the U.S. Air Force and one year as an Air Force civilian employee. She rose to the rank of captain while on active duty and served at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala.; Incirlik Air Base, Turkey; the Pentagon; and Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.

She replaces Edward Anastasi, who retired after 33 years in the airport’s finance unit, including 13 years as deputy director of aviation.
