CareHere Brings Clinic To BNA

Brentwood, Tenn.-based CareHere has opened the first retail healthcare clinic and wellness store at a Tennessee airport at Nashville International (BNA).

The clinic will treat common and chronic health concerns for travelers, and also take care of everyday healthcare needs of onsite employees.

“This clinic will cater to people who might have a medical issue and not a lot of time to address it,” says Ernie Clevenger, CareHere president and co-founder.  “That includes travelers having a medical issue, diabetics needing to monitor their insulin levels or flyers who simply forgot to pack their medications.”

It offers primary care services for conditions such as earaches, rashes, etc., as well as a medicine dispensary. In addition, it will offer broader support, including occupational health risk assessments, physicals and wellness/prevention programs. The clinic’s retail store will sell healthy drinks, snacks and over-the-counter health products.

“The airport authority is excited to partner with CareHere to provide medical services and healthy food options to our passengers, partners and employees,” says Raul Regalado, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. “Having a medical clinic onsite will promote healthy lifestyles and medical services, which makes for a great Nashville Airports Experience.”

The 1,100 sq. ft. airport location, near the C concourse entrance on the secure side of check-in, has three exam rooms. It is open Sunday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patients who have more critical care needs than the clinic can provide will be addressed by the airport’s emergency medical services team.
