Paul Carolan, who has focused largely on non-traditional development within airports throughout his career, has been promoted to president of Bruegger’s Bagels, where he will oversee its development both in airports and traditional locations.
Bruegger’s parent company, Le Duff America, operates that brand, as well as la Madeleine and Brioche Doree.
The company also recently appointed Sheryl Fox to the position of senior director of non-traditional venue business development. She is working with Carolan to develop and strengthen the plan for Bruegger’s development in non-traditional locations and they will work together to continue the expansion of each of Le Duff’s brands in airports domestically and internationally.
Le Duff hired Fox in August She previously had served in two roles at Yum! Brands Express, most recently as senior marketing and development manager overseeing marketing strategy and analysis for KFC Express, Pizza Hut Express and Taco Bell Express, the company’s non-traditional versions of those brands.
“Sheryl is a fantastic addition to Le Duff’s development team,” Carolan said at the time. “Her impact will be felt quickly. As the Le Duff family of brands pursues its growth goals, adding top-tier professionals with credentials such as Sheryl’s is a primary focus.”
