Next month’s event at the UIC Forum, will enable local businesses interested in working at the airports to learn about contracting opportunities with the CDA’s Construction Managers at Risk (CMARs), hiring and contracting initiatives to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion. Companies can also learn the requirements to obtain certification as an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise (VBE), and Business Enterprise Owned by People with Disabilities (BEPD).
“There are incredible opportunities for job seekers and companies of all sizes to be part of the growth and modernization of O’Hare and Midway,” said Jamie Rhee, CDA Commissioner. “With so many exciting projects on the horizon, I encourage individuals and entrepreneurs from all walks of life to learn how they can work at Chicago’s airports.”
