People picking up passengers at Calgary International (YYC) have a new option for waiting on arrivals.
A new 65-space cell phone park and wait lot will allow drivers to wait for up to an hour at no charge. It is on the north side of Airport Road, marked by purple and white signs. When passengers arrive, they can collect their baggage, call their ride and meet them at the arrivals level.
“Our focus is on providing passengers with the best facilities and the highest level of customer service at YYC,” said Garth Atkinson, president and chief executive officer of the Calgary Airport Authority. “This new cell phone lot allows vehicles to easily come to the airport, wait for their friends and family in our new lot, and pick them up at the terminal building. It’s fast, easy and free.”
