Charles Chambers, former senior vice president for security and facilitation for Airports Council International – North America, passed away suddenly on Oct. 14.
During his time with ACI-NA, Chambers also worked with the air cargo, commercial management, finance and insurance and risk management committees. He was most recently with the National Safe Skies Alliance as senior vice president and chief development officer.
“Charles is remembered fondly by ACI-NA members and staff as a true friend and gentleman, who devoted his time and energy to enhance the security and efficiency of the aviation system,” Debby McElroy, executive vice president of ACI-NA, said in an email to members on Oct. 15.
