Cheeburger Cheeburger has opened its seventh airport location, this one at Newark Liberty International (EWR).
The 800 sq. ft. restaurant, in a pre-security food court in Terminal A, is operated by Areas USA. It offers an abbreviated menu, which includes burgers in three sizes, grilled chicken breast sandwiches, 10 ice cream shake flavors and breakfast options, which will be available through the EXPRESS Menu.
”The opening of our 11th non-traditional quick-service restaurant, of which seven are located in airports, required partnering with a world-class operator and the support of a strong supply chain,” says Richard Moore, director of new business development. “We are very happy to work with Areas USA, as our airport operator, and to have key suppliers such as Sysco, for distribution, Naturewell Natural Beef, Edy’s Premium Ice Cream and Tyson All-Natural Chicken help set us apart in the QSR, non-traditional segment. It takes a single focus from the brand, the operator and the suppliers to bring the best to the airport traveler.”
The Cheeburger Cheeburger at EWR will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
