BAA USA has been chosen to become master developer of airport retail, food and beverage concessions at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). Awarded a ten-year contract by the City of Cleveland, BAA USA will assume control of the retail operations April 1, 2008.
“We chose BAA USA because we believe they have the experience and the vision to create retail concessions at CLE that will consistently offer quality goods and services to the airline passenger.” said CLE Airport Director Ricky D. Smith.
As the master developer, BAA USA will implement its AIRMALL® airport program. Other airports with the AIRMALL® program include Pittsburgh International (PIT), Boston Logan International (BOS) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI). The AIRMALL model is known for its mix of local and national brands, commitment to customer service and the guarantee that airport prices will equal those of the same product outside the airport.
