Clear, the card program allowing passengers to pass quickly through security at airports, has opened an enrollment center at Denver International (DEN), the first of several that will be open by mid-January.
The program, offered by Verified Identity Pass, plans to add multiple enrollment stations pre- and postsecurity and at off-site locations in January to accelerate sign-ups in anticipation of launching the registered traveler lanes in late January.
The Clear program has more than 85,000 enrolled travelers and operates at 11 U.S. airports. Members are prescreened and provided with a card that allows access to designated lanes nationwide. The cost is $99.95 per year.
