Coca-Cola Opens Around The World Experience at DFW

Coca-Cola has opened its Around the World Experience at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The 2,016-square-foot lounge area in Terminal D includes a display chronicling the history of Coca-Cola and its connection to the communities it serves. DFW named Coca-Cola its official beverage in 2016.

“Our partnership with DFW International Airport enables us to create unique experiences for travelers that bring Coca-Cola brands to life,” said Jean Claude Tissot, president of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. “The Coca-Cola Around the World Experience is a refreshing way to show the global reach of Coca-Cola.”

The experience features two display cases with vintage artifacts and memorabilia from the Coca-Cola archives, a digital archives explorer, an interactive photo booth that allows travelers to create and send virtual postcards from 18 of DFW’s route global route destinations, folk art Coca-Cola bottles, a shoppable digital catalog and lounge space with charging ports.

“DFW Airport is always looking for innovative ways to elevate the customer experience,” said Ken Buchanan, executive vice president of of customer experience and revenue management. “This unique, interactive exhibit in Terminal D provides an enjoyable way to spend time in the terminals, while also serving as a welcome addition to the airport’s wide array of restaurants, retail and services.”
