Legendary coffee icon Juan Valdez will be visiting Miami International’s Juan Valdez Café© Friday January 13th.
During the event customers will be treated to a coffee tasting as well as photographs with the coffee icon. In 2006, former grower Carlos Castaé±eda was selected by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia to be the current face of Juan Valdez.
Juan Valdez Café© is operated by Miami, Fla.-based NewsLink Group. NewsLink joined forces with Colombian coffee retailer Procafecol to bring the concept to airports. The cafe is located in the North Terminal’s Concourse D across from Gate 23. In addition to fine Colombian coffee, the café© offers pastries, bagels, muffin, sandwiches, salades and more. The MIA location opened December 23, 2011, and is the fifth Juan Valdez Café© in a U.S. airport.
