Columbus Airport Authority Names Business Development Manager

Todd Carter is the new business development manager for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

The Columbus, Ohio, resident will assume his new role Dec. 15 and be based at Port Columbus International (CMH), where he will manage passenger air service development for the authority.

“Todd Carter¹s broad airline and corporate travel experience will help advance air service opportunities for airlines as well as the business and leisure travelers using our airports,” says  David Whitaker, vice president of business development and communications for the airport authority.

For the past 10 years, Carter has managed corporate travel initiatives for BCD Travel as director of account management; he also was with America West Airlines for 12 years, working in airport operations and sales divisions.

“The Columbus air service market is strong and I look forward to continuing the airport authority’s extensive efforts in maximizing its potential,” Carter says.

The authority operates CMH, Rickenbacker International (LCK) and Bolton Field (TZR).
