Columbus Regional Airport Authority Selects Director Of Asset

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority has appointed Kevin Shirer as director of asset management.

In his new role, Shirer will provide direction for the CRAA team that manages technical and operational systems such as the computerized maintenance management system, inline baggage handling system and CAD/GIS systems associated with John Glenn Columbus International (CMH), Rickenbacker International (LCK) and Bolton Field (TZR).

“Kevin Shirer’s notable aviation career, expertise with CAD/GIS technology, innovative facility planning and collaborative leadership will contribute to the success our airports are experiencing as economic drivers in the Columbus Region,” said President and CEO Elaine Roberts. “His collaborative style with internal and external stakeholders will also complement the CRAA business culture.

Shirer most recently served as program director for Woolpert in Englewood, Colorado, where he led technical GIS and asset management projects at airports both large and small.
