The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an experienced commercial property management professional to join the hard working, dynamic Airport Economic Development (AED) team and manage the assets within a complex airport-related real estate portfolio as a Commercial Property Manager.
There is one (1) position open. The Commercial Property Manager reports to the Manager of Airport Economic Development and is responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing existing commercial income property and profitability, focusing on business development, leasing, negotiating business terms, property management, increasing business unit net profitability, overseeing tenant relations, and managing agreements from inception through termination; and exercises first line supervision over assigned staff. In addition, the Commercial Property Manager is an important member of the AED team, supporting and contributing to the broader, overall goals and objectives of the department and organization.
The nature of the position requires advanced technical knowledge of and experience in commercial property management; the ability to develop tactical plans and achieve strategic goals; the ability to organize and direct complex projects and programs; excellent business writing and public speaking skills; and the ability to establish, maintain and foster effective working relationships.
ENTRY SALARY: $62,951 – $79,161 annually, with opportunity for additional merit-based increases up to a range maximum of $95,372. Initial salary placement will be based upon experience and qualifications. This is an at-will, salaried position.
BENEFITS: The RTAA offers a competitive wage and benefit package, which includes 100% employer paid contributions to a distinct, defined benefit retirement program (Nevada PERS), and this position is exempt from contributions to Social Security. Nevada has no state income tax, and Reno has a comparatively low property tax rate.
