The Birmingham Airport Authority has provided its request that interested qualified companies submit proposals for a Common Use Lounge Concession at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The Authority will hold a Pre-Proposal Briefing session on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. central time in Meeting Room A at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
It is the policy of the Birmingham Airport Authority (Authority) that DBEs as defined in 49 CFR 23 and 26 will have maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of all Authority projects and the Proposer will take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that DBEs have maximum opportunity to be involved in this program.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality in any proposal, and to negotiate with the Proposer submitting the proposal most favorable to the Board.
Each Proposer is required to submit his/her qualifications in the manner stated on the RFP. Sealed proposals must be received and submitted to the attention of Diane Gillam, Properties and Senior DBE Manager, Birmingham Airport Authority, 5900 Messer-Airport Highway, Birmingham, Alabama 35212, no later than 2:00 p.m. (CDT) on March 7, 2019.
