Scott Airport Parking has broken ground on a combined parking and pet boarding facility slated to open during summer 2016 at Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS).
Park & Zoom will be a 2,000-stall covered parking garage, and Bark & Zoom will be a pet-boarding facility, managed by local company Taurus Academy.
“Scott Airport Parking brings a welcome new service to AUS, pet boarding, in addition to more parking spaces,” says Jim Smith, executive director of AUS. “We are pleased to be in a partnership to help bring these new amenities to our travelers.”
Because the parking and pet services will be under the same roof, discounted rates will be offered to travelers who utilize both. Plus, passengers will get a free upgrade to valet covered parking by Park & Zoom when they board their pet.
Both services will operate 24/7 to work with flights schedules. In addition to boarding animals, Taurus Academy has outdoor play yards, a pet pool, grooming and optional training services.
